Boston Rockers Garner Rave Press & Add More Tour Dates

(Boston, Mass.) – 2014 is shaping up to be a banner year for Boston’s rockers Girls Guns And Glory. Their recently released album, Good Luck, is holding tight in the Top 25 of the Americana Airplay Chart, their live shows are packed to the rafters, and the press is raving about this “instantly lovable” band from Boston.

“We’re excited. The shows have been going really well, the record is doing well, and we’re getting more radio play than ever,” says Girls Guns And Glory singer Ward Hayden. Case in point: Good Luck has recently reached No. 14 on the American Airplay Chart and No. 7 on the Roots Music Report.

Their infectious live shows have been going well indeed. The band’s March 22 record release show was packed with fans coming out to The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center in Waterford, Connecticut. Likewise, their March 28 show at Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River, Massachusetts held a sold out crowd and the band received two standing ovations.

Since the release of Good Luck earlier this year, the band is enjoying bigger crowds in cities they’ve toured before, such as in the Washington, D.C. market. Their April 4 show at the Iota Club & Café in Arlington, Virginia was their best crowd yet in the area at capacity. The following night, Girls Guns And Glory performed for the first time at Ashland Coffee & Tea Ashland, Virginia. The manager of the club was so wowed she named Girls Guns And Glory as her “new favorite band.”

Their stellar new album, Good Luck, has not gone unnoticed by the press either. No Depression magazine declares, “If there is any justice, ‘Good Luck’ will transform the winners of six Boston Music Awards into a national act which might mean you get to see them live in a city near you!”

The Day newspaper in New London, Connecticut raves, “From the outstanding opening track,  ‘All the Way Up to Heaven’ through ‘It’s Your Choice,’ the new 10-song album by Girls Guns And Glory is arguably the band’s finest work, and, yes, that’s saying a helluva lot. Songwriter/front man Ward Hayden just seems to get wiser, more musically inspired and more lyrically capable of creating instantly lovable Americana songs.”

And, the Sun Chronicle in Attleboro, Massachusetts, calls Girls Guns And Glory’s music “always tuneful and tasteful” and “combines virtuosity with a heartfelt passion for the music.”
