Scripps Networks Webisodes Feature Favorite Restaurant Dishes


(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Acclaimed Show Dog Nashville recording artist Krystal Keith has long been heralded for her world-class vocal talent, but her passion for music is nearly matched by her culinary calling. The following she’s amassed on her Barnyard Bistro blog has drawn considerable media attention, most recently from Scripps Networks, parent company of HGTV, DIY Network, Great American Country, Food Network and Travel Channel, among others.

Scripps’ online platforms and partnered to film the original Plate By Plate series, starring Keith as she recreates favorite dishes from five restaurants she has visited across the country. Recipes vary from blueberry lasagna inspired by Keith’s favorite Nashville restaurant to puka dogs, a Hawaiian take on the classic hot dog. Keith and all of her recipes make gourmet flavor feel attainable at home.

“As a country music artist, I practically live on the road,” Keith says. “When I get home I can’t wait to recreate the great recipes I tasted across America.” The first five episodes have her preparing a diverse palate of tastes. These include the Blueberry Tagliatelle from Nashville’s Moto, Tamales from Criollo in Flagstaff, and Hawaiian Style Hot Dogs.

Wide-ranging flavors aren’t limited to Krystal’s gastronomical pursuits. Her debut album Whiskey & Lace revealed a soulful yet undeniable country sound that won over fans and critics, powered by one of the biggest viral videos of the year. Opening last year’s Shut Up And Hold On Tour for her father, superstar Toby Keith, built an admiring and growing fan base.

Krystal is currently writing and recording her sophomore album and continues to post recipes on The Barnyard Bistro.
