(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Singer, songwriter, entertainer and self-proclaimed shitty golfer Toby Keith is now featured on Spotify Singles, starting today Wednesday, October 25 as attention for his record-setting The Bus Songs album continues to grow.

Keith and longtime collaborator Scotty Emerick are featured in the Spotify Singles session. Playing acoustic guitars, they perform “Shitty Golfer” and Roger Miller’s “Dang Me.” The former is the latest video release from The Bus Songs, and was written after Keith had an argument with a drunk golfer at his hometown course. “I told him, ‘The good golfers get on TV, so you’re a shitty golfer like the rest of us.’ Then I went home and wrote the song.”

“Golfer” follows the album’s first video “Wacky Tobaccy,” neither of which is suitable for radio airplay for obvious reasons. Spotify Singles is among the many efforts Keith’s label Show Dog Nashville is putting into digital promotion of The Bus Songs. And the album is exceeding expectations, now breaking its own record and extending to its sixth week at No. 1 on

Billboard‘s Comedy Albums chart. No previous country artist had topped that chart for more than three weeks.
