(LOS AMGELES) Following the previous sold-out leg of his Berty Boy Relapse Tour, Bert Kreischer, the comic Newsweek hails as “gut-bustingly hilarious,” returns to the road on September 3. His rapidly-rising draw across North America finds Kreischer headlining arenas, amphitheaters, performing arts centers, and prestige theaters, performing multiple dates and two shows per night in many of the cities. The appearances are expected to quickly sell-out.

The fall/winter segment of the tour follows the success of Bert’s innovative Fully Loaded Comedy Festival this summer at mostly outdoor venues like minor league baseball stadiums, amphitheaters, and racetracks. The festival set the attendance record for comedy shows at the Bristol Dragway in Bristol, TN, Frontier Field in Rochester, NY, Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, GA, and Day Air Ballpark in Dayton, OH. The wildly successful festival tour was inspired by his ingenious sold-out 2020 Hot Summer Nights tour of drive-ins. That tour enabled socially distanced shows at the height of the first COVID-19 surge and revolutionized touring during the pandemic, won him Pollstar’s Damn The Torpedoes: 2020-2021 Touring Artist award, and Variety’s 2021 Creative Impact in Comedy award. He was rated 2020’s #1 live comedy draw by Pollstar.

He’s been racking up rave reviews as he tours. As the Penn State COMMEDIA recently reported, “When Kreischer entered the arena, the fans erupted to the point where people would think that it was Penn State’s signature White Out game. Right off the bat, his shirt was gone and the crowd loved it. He fed into the audience’s energy and it was amazing. Throughout the show he continuously interacted with the crowd. Kreischer’s vulgar humor is not for all, but for fans and non-fans alike, it is great to see a genuine comedian be themselves on stage and care about his audience. It was an amazing show that will not soon be forgotten.”

The Albany Times Union compares his everyman’s audience appeal to “that funny buddy or uncle who’s got a sufficiently skewed view of the world and sufficient regard for his ability to tell you about it that anything can become a five-, 10- or even 15-minute story. Lively and responsive to his enthusiastic audience… [he’s] selling out theaters and toting up tens of millions of online views for a single routine. Any competent comedian can get a cheap laugh by reinforcing his audience’s common prejudices and perceptions. Great comics [like Kreischer] don’t comfort. They provoke.”

After Kreischer ascended to performing at the major entertainment venues in most all cities, he enjoyed a personal high note a year ago when he sold out the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside of Denver, CO following years on the comedy club circuit building a loyal and adoring cadre of fans. Appearing before a packed house at the venue, renowned for its splendid natural acoustics and scenic beauty, had been a longtime dream for Kreischer. The date was originally booked as a co-headlining show with Jim Jefferies, who dropped out due to previous family commitments.

Bert ended up selling all the venue’s 9,161 tickets six days before his appearance. “The vibe of the show was just electric,” he recalls. “When you sell out Red Rocks and you stand on stage in front of nearly 10,000 people, and you bring your wife on stage and she feels all those people roar, that is the greatest damn feeling.”

He will be taping his next Netflix standup special on November 18th at the Orpheum Theatre in Omaha, NE. Bert’s three previous specials on the streaming service were all rated in the Top 10 comedy specials of the month. In October 2020, they had a duplication rate of 70% (viewers watching two in a row) and a binge rate of 45% (watching three in a row). Comedy fans clearly want just about as much Bert Kreischer as they can get.
