(Los Angeles) Comedy sensation Bert Kreischer – hailed as “gut-bustingly hilarious” by Newsweek and a “massive draw” by the Nashville Tennessean – is dedicated to providing his followers and fans with imaginative and memorable entertainment experiences. That’s why he has embarked on a unique eight-show festival tour, with six dates sold out, that takes the art of standup to places it has never gone before. And proves that his visionary thinking has potent audience appeal.

The tour opened this past week with four sold out dates in South Bend, IN, Louisville, KY, Dayton, OH, and Rochester, NY, that had record breaking attendances.

The Fully Loaded Comedy Festival continues later this week with dates in Bristol, TN, Brandon, MS, Greenville, SC, and Lawrenceville, GA — the latter two shows already sold out as well.

The tour hits such outdoor venues as minor-league baseball parks, amphitheaters and an auto raceway, as well as one arena, further proving the fest to be the summer’s hottest ticket. To sweeten the deal for audiences, Kreischer has added his favorite comedian friends to the festivities.

While on the Fully Loaded Comedy Festival tour, Kreischer will make a point (as he often does on the road) of getting out in public in each city prior to the shows to ensure that his fans know he is in town with the fest and afterwards to confirm that he left his audiences happy and satisfied. He will follow Fully Loaded with his Berty Boy Relapse tour in September to make-up pandemic canceled dates and sharpen his act for his next comedy special, to be shot later this year.

Initially announced to appear on the fest were Dave Attell, Fortune Feimster, Nikki Glaser, Mark Normand, Big Jay Oakerson, Taylor Tomlinson, Sal Vulcano, and Joey “Coco” Diaz. Since then, Shane Gillis, Chelcie Lynn, Dustin Nickerson, Brian Simpson, and Aaron Weber have been added to the bills along with DJ Carter Cruise spinning tunes between the laughs. (Not all of the comics will be featured at all of the shows; see below.)

Festival tour creator/curator Kreischer’s determination to bring this summer‘s biggest laughs, cold beers, sunsets, music, and a ton of surprises to standup comedy fans follows his ingenious sold-out 2020 Hot Summer Nights tour of drive-ins that enabled socially distanced shows at the height of the first COVID-19 surge. Though top entertainment industry figures and booking agents who he pitched the idea to “told me I was an idiot,” recalls Kreischer, it revolutionized touring during the pandemic and won him Pollstar’s Damn The Torpedoes: 2020-2021 Touring Artist award and Variety’s 2021 Creative Impact in Comedy award. Added to his packed houses at arenas and Denver’s legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre, it all earned him the stature as 2020’s #1 live comedy draw from Pollstar.

Fully Loaded is just one of many comedic ventures that have crowned Kreischer today’s new King of Comedy. Coming up soon is the movie he stars in, wrote and produced, “The Machine,” based on his routine about being mistaken for a Russian mob boss robbing the train he was on during an overseas student study group, co-starring Mark Hamill of “Star Wars” fame.  He hosts two of the most-popular comedy podcasts in the world, “Bertcast” and ”2 Bears 1 Cave” (with Tom Segura), stars in his own Netflix show “The Cabin with Bert Kreischer,” and is the emcee of the wildly-successful “The Go Big Show” on TBS. He also boasts three comedy specials currently streaming on Netflix, his first book, “Life of the Party: Stories of a Perpetual Man-Child” and the CD Bert Bert Bert.

Bert first came to national attention in 1997 as the subject of a major Rolling Stone feature article on him as the “Number One Partier in the Nation” while in college at Florida State University, at the time rated the top party school in the national. It prompted him to try standup comedy one night in Florida and then move to New York City to hone his act in the Big Apple’s highly competitive comedy clubs.

He won early top-flight entertainment business attention when Oliver Stone tapped him to develop a feature film based on the Rolling Stone article and Will Smith cast Kreischer to star in a CBS TV sitcom pilot, “Life With David J,” with Elliott Gould. Though neither project came to full fruition, he was soon guesting on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” “Conan,” and “Racheal Ray” along with acting parts on shows like the acclaimed police drama “The Shield.” More TV appearances in “Bert the Conqueror,” “Trip Flip” for the Travel Channel, and “Hurt Bert” on FX further raised his public profile.

Kreischer has etched his trademark into contemporary comedy by performing shirtless as he delivers hilarity. As Interrobang notes, “Kresicher has that rare and incredible talent that only a handful of comedians possess – the ability to set up a joke with a premise that you are convinced goes too far, and you can’t possibly find it to be funny. Then he pulls your feet out from under you, and not only makes you laugh, but also makes you think that awful premise wasn’t even so terrible to begin with. Being a cringe comedian with real insight is one of the hardest things to do, and Bert has done it.”
