(LOS ANGELES) Lily Meola’s performances have been called “emotional,” “jaw-dropping,” and “pitch-perfect.” Her riveting and intimate originals have earned standing ovations everywhere from massive festivals to intimate club shows to the international audience of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” And now, the Hawaiian-born singer/songwriter is following up her stellar appearances on AGT, where she came in third in the semi-finals and earned judge Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer and Wild Card honors, with a set of tour dates through the Fall.

“I love performing for people. It’s one thing to connect through a song on record, but it’s on a whole other level when you get to be up close with fellow music lovers and see how they react in the moment. It doesn’t matter if it’s a festival stage, a TV show, or a small intimate show, it’s all so special to me,” says Lily, 27.

That’s why opening for Grammy Awards-winning singer/songwriter Ray LaMontagne is such a treat for Lily. “I’m super excited to open for Ray. His audience has a real love for music and songwriting. I’m excited to really focus on the songs and make them sound the best that I can,” she says.

Ray LaMontagne is not the only notable artist who is in Lily’s corner. Along with the aforementioned Heidi Klum, Lily amassed quite the fanbase for her thoughtful and emotive storytelling, including super model Bella Hadid, who tweeted during her AGT performance “❤️u are so strong… sending u some much love,” superstar Michael Buble, country legend Willie Nelson, surfing star Kelly Slater, and major media outlets including Rolling Stone, Billboard, which put “Daydream” on their list of the 17 best original songs ever performed on AGT, and Newsweek.

Those who loved her AGT audition performance of “Daydream” will be happy to know that she’ll perform the entire song on her new tour (a verse was cut out on the TV performance version), and her live performance of “Butterfly” is also on the set list, though you might get a slightly different version of it. “I like to mix it up a bit. The set list has a variety of released and unreleased music. Will throw in some cover songs as well,” adds Lily, who is performing as an acoustic trio with her keyboardist and guitarist. Both songs are available now on iTunes.

Lily is no stranger to the stage. She’s performed with Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler. And she’s performed at such big festivals as Farm Aid, Austin’s Seager Roundup, Ohana Music Festival, where she shared the stage with founder Eddie Vedder, and Napa Valley’s BottleRock where she earned a standing ovation and encore. After her BottleRock VIP set, Meola recalls being approached by fans in tears. “That’s what I want for my music; I want people to feel something. I want them to feel less alone; I want them to feel inspired,” she says.

Lily Meola was born and raised on the island of Maui, Hawaii. Her love of music blossomed in the passenger seat of her mom’s car listening to legendary artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Joni Mitchell, and Carole King. Lily began performing around Maui in local bars and cafes at the young age of 11. Mentored by super-producer Bob Rock, Lily learned to write songs with Jackson Browne, recorded duets with Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, and Lukas Nelson, and co-wrote Andra Day single, “Amen.”
