The Luck Family Foundation Community Conversation Stage
** Southwest Airlines Artist On The Rise
“We are beyond excited to welcome our Luck Family back home to Willie’s backyard for another incredible year with this ever more important community” said Matt Bizer, CEO and Founder of Luck Presents. “Community is the theme, and this year’s event is something we are really proud of. We are welcoming back many long-time Luck Family members, some new artists we cannot stop listening to, and more than one surprise guest!”
This year, Southwest Airlines® will bring the 6th installment of the Southwest: On The Rise To Luck program, which will see Luke Tyler Shelton, Improvement Movement and Marlon Funaki joining the Luck family. Through the Artist On The Rise platform, Southwest supports up-and-coming talent to help them reach new heights in their careers. Past artists who have been selected by this program include Arcy Drive, Devon Gilfilian, Ida Mae, Katie Pruitt, Lou Hazel, Thomas Csorba and Angel White. With Southwest: Artist On The Rise To Luck, fans have the opportunity to vote for their favorite artist to perform on the main stage at Luck Reunion. Voting is open from February 17 – March 1 at Southwest.fm.
Luck Presents is also pleased to announce its lineup for the 10th annual benefit, Potluck on Wednesday, March 12. Fans can look forward to an intimate evening celebrating culinary traditions in a family-style seated dinner prepared by heralded chefs followed by a performance from Willie Nelson. Featured chefs include Chef Ambassador Michael Fojtasek of MaieDay and Olamaie, Ed Lee of Nami, Erik Bruner-Yang of Maketto & Providencia, Cheetie Kumar of Ajja and more. Tickets sold to Potluck will benefit The Luck Family Foundation in support of Farm Aid, and The Texas Food And Wine Alliance. Luck Presents launched their philanthropic arm in 2015, now formally known as the Luck Family Foundation, to support core community resources: the environment, food systems, farmers, artists, and musicians in line with Willie Nelson’s human-first principles. Since its inception, the foundation—managed by the Austin Community Foundation—has raised over $2.8 million and collaborated with organizations such as REVERB Climate Solutions, MusicCares, Sweet Relief, Health Alliance for Austin Musicians, The SIMS Foundation, and the Central Texas Food Bank in addition to direct support of grantees. Tickets for Potluck will be available HERE on Thursday, February 20, and the 2025 Event Poster by Mishka Westell is available to download HERE.
Additionally, this year Luck Presents will be hosting Waxahatchee & Friends Featuring Lucinda Williams & Her Band, a special show on Friday, March 14 at Luck Ranch with Waxahatchee and Lucinda Williams and her band, with special guests Futurebirds, Bill Callahan, Kam Franklin, Brennan Wedl, and more.
