(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Singer, songwriter and entertainer Toby Keith has been at the top of a lot of lists during his career, and with Memorial Day and July 4 approaching, his music is sure to feature prominently on radio and personal playlists. To that end, Universal Music Group is releasing the six-song America EP this Friday around themes Keith holds dear.
Concurrently, all six songs are included in a staggering number of new gold & platinum single certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Twenty certifications across 17 titles confirm the ongoing appeal of Keith’s music.
Of the 17 songs certified, 15 were written by Keith with five of those as solo-writes. Keith wrote or co-wrote all six songs on the America EP.
