Toby Keith’s 35 Biggest Hits to Make Vinyl Debut

As accolades continue to roll in for the late Toby Keith (more below), UMe will release the late singer, songwriter and entertainer’s 35 Biggest Hits on vinyl for the first time on May 22. Arriving in time for Memorial Day, 35 Biggest Hits kicks off the hottest part of the year for Keith’s music. Last July alone, he reached an audience of more than two billion, with Billboard calling him the Independence Day holiday’s “biggest winner.” That success followed the 2024 streaming surge that pushed 35 Biggest Hits to No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200.

The RIAA platinum certified collection has spent a total of 276 weeks on the Top 200, including five weeks in the Top 10. Featured tracks include the recently certified 5x-platinum “Courtesy Of The Red, White And Blue (The Angry American),” which peaked at No. 25 on the all-genre Hot 100, and “Who’s Your Daddy?” which peaked at No. 22. Both were multi-week No. 1s on the major country airplay charts.

The collection opens with his debut smash “Should’ve Been A Cowboy” (1993) and runs through the 2006 chart-topper “A Little Too Late.” Also among the 34 signature hits are “How Do You Like Me Now?!,” “I Love This Bar” and “As Good As I Once Was,” punctuated by the addition of then-new release “She’s A Hottie.”

Ahead of the 35 Biggest Hits reissue, a Dolby Atmos remix of Blue Moon, Keith’s third mainstream studio album (not counting Christmas To Christmas), will be released April 10 to mark its 30th anniversary – officially April 16. That release featured the No. 1 singles “Does That Blue Moon Ever Shine On You” and “Me Too.” And his 11th studio album White Trash With Money celebrates its 20th anniversary on April 11. That RIAA certified platinum album features the hit singles “Get Drunk and Be Somebody” and “A Little Too Late.”

Shortly thereafter, Keith will be honored with the Special Director’s Award during the 65th annual Western Heritage Awards April 11 in Oklahoma City. Presented by the National Cowboy Museum’s board, this “rare and distinguished honor is presented only when an individual’s contributions reach an exceptional level of excellence,” and for embodying “a profound commitment to preserving, interpreting, and elevating the spirit of the American West, leaving a lasting and enduring impact.”

About Toby Keith

Bursting on to the country music scene with his solo-penned first single “Should’ve Been A Cowboy,” Toby Keith began stacking hits through a succession of label permutations, all of which built to the Sept. 1, 2005 launch of his own label, Show Dog Nashville. Keith released 14 albums during that final phase of his career, cementing his place as one of the most prolific self-directed creative forces in country’s modern era. All in, Keith amassed 42 top 10 hits, 33 No. 1s, more than 45 million albums sold, 100 million BMI performances, and more than 10 billion streams largely on the strength of his own songwriting and producing. He was elected into the Country Music Hall of Fame shortly before his passing in February 2024. Among his many accomplishments, the New York based all-genre Songwriters Hall of Fame (2015), the National Medal of Arts (2021), the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame (2021) and BMI Icon (2022) were his most treasured.
